Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 17 July 2026

Booking appointments

Appointments can be booked online through our client portal, by phone or in person. A booking confirms your reservation of that appointment time with Dr Sandra Tan, Physiotherapist and Doctor of Chinese Medicine. Please arrive a few minutes early for your first visit to complete any required paperwork.

Cancellations and rescheduling

We understand that plans change. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, so the time can be offered to another patient. Late cancellations or missed appointments without reasonable notice may incur a cancellation fee, at the clinic's discretion.

Fees and payment

Consultation fees are payable at the time of your appointment by EFTPOS, credit card or cash. Current fees are available from the clinic on request. Fees may be updated from time to time.

Health fund and Medicare claims

Where you hold eligible private health cover, on-the-spot claims can usually be processed through HICAPS, with you paying only the gap. Medicare chronic condition management rebates require a valid GP referral and are not bulk-billed: you pay in full and the Medicare portion is refunded to your account. It remains your responsibility to confirm your own level of cover and eligibility with your fund or Medicare before your appointment.

Referrals

A GP referral is not required to see a physiotherapist or acupuncturist at this clinic, except where required for WorkCover, Veterans' Affairs, CTP (third party insurance) claims, or to claim a Medicare chronic condition management rebate.

Your responsibilities

To help us treat you safely and effectively, please provide accurate and complete information about your medical history, current medications and any changes in your condition between visits. Please let your practitioner know immediately if you experience any unexpected pain, discomfort or adverse reaction during or after treatment.

Clinic conduct

We are committed to providing a safe, respectful and professional environment for all patients and staff. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue treatment where behaviour is abusive, unsafe or otherwise inappropriate.

Online booking portal

Our online booking system is provided by a third party (Zanda Health). Use of that portal is also subject to that provider's own terms of use. We are not responsible for outages or technical issues with third-party booking software, though we will do our best to accommodate you by phone in such cases.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your appointment applies.
